Whew, Time Flies

I can't believe it's been over a week since I last posted. Life has been busy. And to top it off, both of my cards on my cameras are full. That's right. Full. I'll have Jason take the pics off tonight so I have room to snap more and share them all. Stay tuned for a new post in the next few days with updates on Hubler Planet.

One Year Ago...

Etched on my heart. A moment. A memory. A day I will never forget.

Ella, Ben, and I were up north visiting my family. It was an emotional stay and an even more emotional day. June 5 is the anniversary of my Grandfather's death. And it was the first anniversary. Gramps was much more than a grandpa to me...and I miss him dearly.

But God had something in store for me that day. A special surprise. Something that would forever change my life. Something that would forever change my world.

A referral with the picture of the Cutest. Little. Baby. In. The. World.

I knew immediately upon opening her file and reading about her that I was looking into the eyes of my daughter. Those increadibly beautiful, big, brown eyes.
Where God had taken away, He also gave.
An amazing little girl who Jason and I have been blessed beyond measure to be able to parent. Lily Jeeah is an amazing addition to our family and I can not imagine my life without her.
There is so much more to this story...but that will be a story that Lily will be the first to hear. One that I will protect in my heart special just for her.
I love you, Lily Jeeah. Love. You.

Fun in the Sun

Memorial Day Weekend. Lots of sun. 3 days with Daddy at home. Just getting over strep and starting to feel like we are ready to re-join the living.

World...here we come.

The weather was gorgeous. A balmy 75 and sunny. Not to hot...not to cold.

Lily is an outdoor girl. Life is just better when you are outside.

In piggies.

Throw in a pool and Ella is equally as happy. Especially when it requires wearing something Tinkerbell.

Piggies and a pool...getting even better.

Ask Ben and baseball sure can make things fun. He thought the water was too cold and opted for a bat instead.

Oh, he's just so cute. All too soon, I will blink and he will be playing high school baseball. They grow up too fast. I want to capture all these moments so I don't forget. So I have these memories forever.

Taking the mound....

Swing Batter, Batter, SWING!

That must have been a home run!

Look at that form. :)

There may be a baseball game a goin' on...but Ella is having way too much fun in the pool.

Just another way these two sisters can spend time bonding. I love to see my kids spending time together...enjoying each other's company, laughing with each other, and growing closer together.

And someone else stopped by for the party. A Big. Fat. Toad. I thought a chipmunk had run in front of me. When I looked down, he was staring back at me. Big eyes and all.

Ain't he pretty?
