The Things We Put Up With

Here is a conversation that just transpired:

As Ella is switching Hattie's outfit and redoing her hair for her pretend photo shoot...

Me: "Hattie, you sure do put up with a lot from your big sister."

Ella: "MOM, she likes it. Don't you Hattie!!"

Hattie: "Not really...

Then after a long pause...

But I love you, Ella."

I couldn't help but laugh.
